Price and price list management

This plugin represents the heart of the system’s price and discount management.

When loading, the catalogs could have a 0 price (set if the supplier does not supply the price) or a generic price supplied by the supplier.

THE PRICES MUST NOT HAVE THE THOUSANDS SEPARATOR AND HAVE A COMMA AS A DECIMAL SEPARATOR (e.g. OK: 12.34 or 1234.50)

• Upload the file
• Select the catalog
• Keep the check on Use default identifier (Sku)
• Keep checking ‘Update base prices’
• Import

The file must be an Excel XLSX of 6 columns: ID (Sku), Base price, Percentage discount without % (or alternatively a price, by deselecting the appropriate check), Roles separated by ; , Valid from dd/mm/yyyy (optional), Valid until (optional) dd/mm/yyyy

 

– PRICES MUST NOT HAVE A THOUSAND SEPARATOR AND MUST HAVE A COMMA AS A DECIMAL SEPARATOR (e.g. OK: 12.34 or 1234.50)

– *if the role is specified use it, creating it if necessary, otherwise create a fictitious “Standard Discounts”

• Import
• Select a Catalog
• Use default identifier (Sku)
• Update base prices? If enabled, update the base prices using the second column, otherwise use the base price to calculate the discounted price
• Is the third column a percentage?
• Eliminate (mark ‘deleted’) the products not in the list

If a catalog has been selected and the identifier in use is the SKU and this option is enabled, after updating the prices, the system iterates on the products in the current catalog and eliminates those not present in the Excel price list; it therefore allows you to eliminate obsolete products at the same time as updating the list prices.

ATTENTION: SELECT THE CORRECT CATALOG!

ATTENTION: THE SETTING OF PRICE LISTS ASSOCIATED WITH THE ROLE REQUIRES YOU TO CHECK THE SETTINGS OF THE ROLE (SEE IN CUSTOMERS–>ROLES)
